  3. I read the first section in "CASTLE" by CHRISTOPHER GRAVETT. The first section is titled, "What is a castle?" This paragraph explains why castles were built. So why were castles built? To protect a Lord. Castles were also built to show power and withstand enemy attacks. Many people had to work in a castle to keep it running. I would recommend this book to anyone who is intrested in mediaval castles.

  4. The chapter I read was from the DK book Pel'e By James Buckley. Pel'e was a struggle much, hard working kid at everything he did even from an early age. By age 7 he was a shoeshiner than after work he would help his dad as a janitor. But don't forget on the field, On the field he was a hard working prodigy Who got scouted at age 13. So you can say Pel'e is just a hard worker

  6. I read "Egypt". From the first section, I could tell that Ancient Egyptians can't survive without the river Nile. First of all, the Egyptians get food (fish) from the Nile and either cook it or eat it raw. They also get water from the Nile and either drink it or use it to water their crops. They can also get soil from the Nile and use it for their plants.

  9. I am reading Buried in Ice by Owen Beattle and John Geiger. Franklin is the caiptan of the two ships, one is called Erebus and the other one is called Terror. I read the first chapter and it was about a crew of searchers looking for the mystery of the Lost Artic Expedition and they found the grave of the pirates and dug them up. They found bones too and they had to take the bones to a scientist to see if anything was in it and they found lead in the bones of the pirates. The seachers answer all these types of questions, but two reamins unanswered, How could the greatest Artic expedition of all thime have ended in such tragedy? Why had Franklin's men died?
